Femme Fatale Cosmetics Swatches

I recently received 5 bags of Femme Fatale Cosmetics to swatch.
The colors that I received were:

Dispersion: "A deep mulberry with bold teal blue shimmer."
My take: Deep red with blue glitter
$5.85 for full size they also have mini sizes with and without sifter. They are $3.20 with sifter and $3.10 without a sifter.

Hallowed Ground: "A pale asparagus green with stunning red shimmer"
My take: Sea-foam green with red glitter
$5.85 for full size they also have mini sizes with and without sifter. They are $3.20 with sifter and $3.10 without a sifter.

Mysticism: "A deep berry pink with strong blue undertones and a striking blue duochrome finish"
My take: Pinkish Plum color
$5.85 for full size they also have mini sizes with and without sifter. They are $3.20 with sifter and $3.10 without a sifter.

Spirit Bond: "A deep midnight blue with strong purple undertones and a shimmery golden finish"
My take: This one looks almost like a black purple in the bag and when it is swatched
$5.85 for full size they also have mini sizes with and without sifter. They are $3.20 with sifter and $3.10 without a sifter.

Silver Sage:Silver Sage is a translucent white-based illuminator, with medium to low shimmer."
My take: This one is a translucent white with a lot of glitter. I am almost to pale for it to show up on my skin.
Silver sage only comes in full size and it is $8.25

I did realize that these shadow are very soft and smooth. They are really easy to blend. Femme Fatale has so many different colors of eyeshadows along with nail polishes and blushes.

Oslo Cosmetics

So I have recently come across this indie makeup company called Oslo Cosmetics. (http://oslocosmetics.storenvy.com
Oslo Cosmetics is defined as:
" High quality, highly pigmented, unique colors, and unique blends for a very unique you."
They are 100% Vegan and Handmade

They put primer into there cosmetics that's why the look "clumpy"
It does kind of make it hard to work with until you get used to it. They also sell pressed eyeshadows and I think I am going to try those. They look like they are highly pigments, but easier to use.

I like that the sell "minis" in jars. I am not a fan of the sample baggies
I do wish that they had sifters on top though.
They also kinda of have a smell to them. I am thinking it might be the primer in them, but it is just different.

Their prices are as followed

Mini's: $3.60
Full Loose Shadows: $5.50
Pressed Shadows: $6.00
Pressed Shadow in Jar: $8.00

They are worth a try. I would say if you are a beginner you might want to try the pressed eyeshadow. Like I said the loose are a little hard to work with when you are new to the "clumpy" pre-primer shadows.

Rainy/Snowy Day in Iowa

So it is definitely starting to look/feel like fall in Iowa. It was raining and then it decided to snow. So with nothing better to do on a crappy day ( Although I secretly love snow) I have a eyeshadow look for you.
I just recently purchased these shadows from maddstylecosmetics.com when they were having this awesome buy 5/$20 and get a free eyeshadow sale.

For this look I used MSC in:

A Whole New World

So I was recently a part of an amazing gift exchange through elfster.com
My Elfie had purchased me an enormous amount of gifts.
One of them being the Madd Style Cosmetics A Whole New World Collection & Box of Rain
So that in turns means a collaboration of the two :)
This look features two of the five colors in the collection

Those being:
Magic Carpet Ride
&
Into The Sunset

Then of course:
Box of Rain

I first prepped my eyes with Too Faced Shadow Insurance
:Side Note: Being this is my first time ever using Too Faced Shadow Insurance
and I am in love. It works so well for me. It definitely makes my shadows last longer and stay in place.
I then placed my Maybelline 24hr color tattoo in too cool over that.

Next I added MSC Into the Sunset all over my lid
I then applied Magic Carpet Ride to create my outer V and into my crease as well as extending the color to my bottom lash line.
Blending into; Into the Sunset
I then placed Box of Rain on my very outer lid and blended into; Into the Sunset to create the green
I then went back and packed Box of Rain back on the outer portion of my lid, because you lose some of the color blending it into; Into the Sunset

I added Into the Sunset to my first third of my bottom lash line blending into Magic Carpet Ride.
I then put a little bit of Box of Rain into the middle part of my lower lash line and blended it out.

I then added my liner and Big Fatty by Urban Decay as my mascara (also a new item).

Enjoy!
